A survey found that playing children laugh an average of 450 times a day, while working adults laugh an average of 15 times a day.

Now I cannot verify the reliability of this survey, but I do know that people buy people that radiate enthusiasm and we all know that we prefer optimistic news to pessimistic news…

Yet the latter travels quicker: little wonder that so many businesses fear the worst.

So how can we get back the 435 laughs we have lost each business day?

Well 435 new sales, customers or clients would stimulate that…

But to be realistic…you can implement the 5 ‘R’s:

Review the way you go to market and generate demand for your services in a way that feels authentic and comfortable to you…

Re-inspire yourself with what increases your confidence in yourself and your capacity to handle any business challenge you are faced with…

Revisit your strengths and why you are good at what you do best, and why your best customers choose to keep revisiting you…

Redirect your business to where you wanted it to go when you started – when you skid on ice you keep focused on where you want to go, not on where you are being forced to go...

Re-instil the entrepreneurial characteristics that were so instrumental when founding your business and which have been forgotten over the years.

Picking any of the above will be effective in rediscovering and re-energizing you towards receiving those rewards that brings a smile to your face.
