J S Mill

J.S. Mill wrote that:

"one person with a belief is equal to ninety-nine who have only interests."

However, as often is the case, those 99 seem more interested in casting doubt or creating obstacles to the reality or fulfillment of that one determined person′s intent or mission, than on developing their own.

The three keys are to...

First, keep the courage of your convictions and, whenever possible, keep your own counsel.

Second, when you do discuss and invite feedback about your plans then share with those that you actually hold respect for. Above all do not entertain unsolicited opinions.

And Third, be aware of those negative influences that bring discomfort...

Then discard them in the same way that you would not consider storing rotting food in your refrigerator.
